Punjab CM has taken notice of the news and ordered immediate arrest of the accused.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The unknown plainclothes man along with other policemen besides Gullu Butt was identified as Police Constable Riaz Babar.
The Gullu Butt type character, carrying pistols in both hands, also opened firing on the Awami Tehreek workers (PAT).
According to Dunya News sources, Riaz Babar is serving as Police Constable at Model Town Division.
Babar is a black sheep of police department who had been arrested several times for robberies but this ‘Gullu Butt’ always got relief due to police authorities backing.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of report aired by Dunya News and ordered to arrest the accused.
