Imran Khan terms JIT report on Model Town vandalism 'height of injustice'

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Saturday has termed the final report of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Model Town vandalism as height of injustice, Dunya News reported.

In a statement on social networking website, Khan said that declaring Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Rana Sanaullah innocent in Model Town tragedy is absolutely a violation of law. He stated that the team has shown biasness in probing the incident.

Imran Khan further added that the JIT’s report would allow the police personnel to stage such kind of acts again with liberty as the authorities have failed to sentence the culprits.
