Right to Fair Trial under Article 10-A being violated with abandon: PAT

Addressing a hurriedly called press conference at the Lahore Press Club, central PAT leaders along with the team of lawyers engaged in fighting Model Town case have said that the Punjab Government is murdering justice by not holding fair trial under Article 10-A of the Constitution after formation of the highly questionable JIT. They said that there is no difference in the behaviour of the police, JIT and the anti-terrorism court. They said that apprehension expressed by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri regarding non-provision of justice in the presence of current rulers is coming true word for word....

Keys of double-storey house handed over to father of Shaheed Muhammad Umar

On behalf of PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the keys of a double storey house were handed over to Mian Muhammad Siddique, the father of Muhammad Umar Siddique yesterday. It is pertinent to mention here that Muhammad Umar Siddique was martyred on June 17, 2014 in Model Town tragedy in Lahore. He is the fourth homeless martyr of a family who was the sole breadwinner for his parents....

 Model Town case should be transferred to other judge: PAT lawyers file petition

Rai Bashir Advocate and Mian Faiz Ali, heads of PAT lawyers’ team, have decided to file three petitions against rejection of legal applications by the anti-terrorism court. Rai Bashir Advocate said that bias and partiality of the anti-terrorism court has come out in the open. He said that our applications that were filed under 265 C and Section 234 C for transfer of case have been rejected and we are going to file three petitions in the Lahore High Court against the controversial rulings of the anti-terrorism court....

I am determined to get justice for martyrs of Model Town tragedy: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

Addressing a heavily crowded press conference in the central secretariat of PAT along with family members of the martyrs, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that he is completely fit and would not budge an inch from his stated position unless he takes revenge for the martyrs. He said that the blood of martyrs is a debt on us, adding that we would go to any extent for the sake of justice. He said that it now depends on the rulers as to what they want. He said that the rulers helped the main accused involved in the Model Town tragedy flee from the country....

14 dead bodies, 100 injured people waiting for justice: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

Talking to the media outside the Airport Lounge, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that 14 dead bodies and 100 injured people are waiting for the Army and the Rangers. He asked as to when the action will be taken against perpetrators of Model Town tragedy. He said that Pakistan continues to remain bogged down in the pit of problems and corruption and terrorism are eating into vitals of our polity. He made it absolutely clear that as long as there is one drop of blood in his body, he will keep on demanding justice for the Model Town victims....

Model Town tragedy is potential earthquake waiting to explode: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that evidence in the Model Town tragedy is safe and secure and we remember the faces of the killers.
