Friday, 22 September 2017 PAT workers stage sit-in outside Civil Secretariat PAT leaders, workers and the family members of the martyrs of Model Town staged a sit-in in front of the Civil Secretariat Lahore over the Home Secretary’s refusal to hand over the Najfi Judicial Commission report following the LHC judgment. Thursday, 21 September 2017 LHC judgment beginning of justice for martyrs of Model Town tragedy: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri Addressing an emergency press conference soon after the Lahore High Court’s judgment to make the Baqir Najfi Commission report public, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri asked the Punjab Chief Minister to hand over the report to the families of the martyrs before being apprehended. Wednesday, 16 August 2017 Families of martyrs stage sit-in for release of Najfi Commission report The families of the martyrs of Model Town massacre staged a sit-in at the Istanbul chowk at The Mall, Lahore on August 16 with a sole demand for publication of Justice Baqir Najfi Commission report. All political parties took active part in the sit-in. It is demand of the families of the martyrs that the Justice Baqir Najfi Commission report should be made public and a neutral bench should be constituted under the supervision of the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.... He said that his question to this man is that what crime had the fourteen innocent people committed who were killed in cold-blood on June 17, 2014 in broad day-light. Saturday, 15 July 2017 Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri asks SC to order publication of Model Town Commission Report Addressing a large protest demonstration organized by PAT on The Mall, Lahore on the afternoon of July 15, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that we appeal to the Supreme Court to order the publication of the Model Town Commission report in the same way as it did in case of the Panama JIT report.
