Two more eye-witnesses record their statements in anti-terrorism court

Two eye-witnesses in the Model Town case, namely Muhammad Sarwar and Sakhi Badshah, recorded their statements in anti-terrorism court in connection with the private complaint filed by PAT.Injured Muhammad Sarwar said in his statement that a constable was holding two pistols in his hands and spraying bullets by changing positions. He said that one of the bullets hit him going across his abdomen. Other workers were also inured with his firing....

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to lead sit-in in Lahore on June 17

Pakistan Awami Tehreek has decided to stage a sit-in on June 17 at the Mall Road Lahore. PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will lead the sit-in. Announcement to this effect was made by PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur while addressing a press conference at the central secretariat here in Lahore on May 26 along with other members of the Core Committee. PAT holds demonstration for justice in front of anti-terrorism court

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) held a demonstration in front of the anti-terrorism court to seek justice for Model Town martyrs. Senior leaders and workers including women attended the demonstration in large number. Addressing the participants of the demonstration, Khawaja Amir Fareed Koreja said that we would fight the legal battle and take to the streets as well for justice in Model Town case.
